Glioblastoma Foundation Funds Caregiver Study

A Glioblastoma  diagnosis can exert undue stress on families and primary caregivers. Glioblastoma Foundation is pleased to announce that we are funding a new study led by the Glioblastoma Foundation's very own Drs. Laura Porter and Katherine Ramos.

This ground-breaking family and caregiver study will focus on providing psychoeducation and support for Glioblastoma caregivers and patients, with the goal of improving caregiver/patient distress and over-all well-being.  Study participants will be asked to share their experiences as caregivers and patients, with the goal of developing supportive programs for families touched by Glioblastoma.

Dr. Laura Porter is an expert in coping with the psychological stress of illness, while Dr. Katherine Ramos is skilled in palliative care and hospice.

Patients and caregivers will be asked to participate in a series of interviews and conversations with the goal of providing feedback on their experiences.

The Glioblastoma Foundation would like to thank Drs. Porter and Ramos for their commitment to glioblastoma therapy improvement.
