David Hardy

My brother was David Hardy 52, of Norman OK. On 10/29/17 he stopped by an urgent care facility after work complaining of a headache. He received aspirin and went home. Halloween night while passing out candy he collapsed and an ambulance came. Tests were performed and in the wee hours of 11/01/17 emergency surgery was performed due to the discovery of a mass on the left side of his brain. On 11/03/17, David was diagnosed with glioblastoma and placed in hospice care. David passed away 12/19/17.

David was an elite athlete and a past National Champion Cheerleader. David was a much loved, successful and sought after coach for cheerleading, tumbling and gymnastics. David had made coaching his career and life's work.

David left behind a wife, daughter, son and granddaughter. His five brothers and their families miss him terribly.

The current standard of care for glioblastoma consisting of radiation and chemotherapy is ineffective.
